Well, my tax rebate comes through the post, so it’s the best opportunity to go purchase a DSLR camera. So yesterday this bad boy arrives through the post:

I am looking at Digital SLR cameras, but do you think the higher price is really worth the improved picture? what type of SLR did you get? This site http://www.dslrcamerareviews.com was OK, but looking for more advice. Thoughts?
Comment by john 2008/09/03 @ 3:48 PMI’m assuming it’s the ‘you get what you pay for’ scenario, I got it from Amazon and the customer reviews were quite good. It’s Sony too, so it’s fully compatible with all my other Sony products like tripods, memory cards etc. I myself am not particularly great with photography but this does everything I want.
