Okay, I would just like to say today has been the best day so far in terms of progress. Firstly, I spent until the early hours of this morning finishing my article designs in time for the moring crit (whoops) and felt satisfied with the conclusion of feedback. Secondly, we have a great lecture from Craig Oldham from thechase agency. And thirdly, just checking through the new copy of Computer Arts Magazine, I find that my thread discussion is printed in the issue.

Tart Cards

Just had the crit for the finished Tart cards, went pretty swell. The brief asked us to design a tart card for a typeface and a letter of the alphabet, but also a card which could allow you to indulge your imagination into. We had to advertise the typography on each of the cards like it was a London Prostitute, sexually or not. Overall it was quite an interesting project.

Anyway, here’s my finished pieces: From left, typeface card, individual character and no restriction.

Hi there people. It’s been a while since my last post but I’ve been pretty busy. I’ve finished my shifts at work and now I’ve moved into my fresh new apartment for the second year of Uni and so far, I’ve really found it fantastic; better rooms/kitchen, big TV, dishwasher and of course better flatmates.

There’s not really that much to say, but I’ve had a few go’s with my Lomography camera and I’ve spilled a few photos for all. These are also Flickr bound too:

Well, my tax rebate comes through the post, so it’s the best opportunity to go purchase a DSLR camera. So yesterday this bad boy arrives through the post:

Tate Modern, London

Hi there,

Last week I went to London, to the Tate Modern last Saturday for the Street Art exhibition. And what a disappointment it was.

It was a free exhibition, and when they say free it really should have been for all the wrong reasons. The *exhibition* was just the Tate building with stencils and spray paint mounted on the brickwork. That’s it.

Just recently arrived home today from my trip to Holland. Surprisingly nice place actually…

Lovely architecture, the country seems to take different styles of culture from all over Europe and combines all of those styles into their own formation. I’m really starting to take an appeal into Europe now, its taken me under its roof. It’s all just so…. interesting compared to the UK. I’m really in the mood to go traveling after finishing University because it seems so worth it.

Anyhow, heres a few shots:

Hi, here’s a redone piece which I originally started way back last year, which looked awful. So I was always tempted to start it again for some time. After doing a sketch at work for it. I decided to have another shot.
